Mistfall Hunter Seer Guide — Support That Wins Trios

✔ Last checked: 2026-08-04

Seer is Mistfall Hunter’s support class — catalyst and mace, and the difference between a squad that extracts and a squad that almost did. Its value is invisible on the damage meter and unmistakable on your survival rate.

Weapon paths

Path Style Best for
Catalyst Full utility focus Trios with two committed damage dealers
Mace Utility with teeth Duos where you must hold your own

Why supports are different here

Extraction changes the support calculus in two ways:

  1. There are no respawns mid-run. In arena games, support saves time; here it saves inventories. One clutch save pays your whole kit back.
  2. Third parties are constant. The squad that’s still healthy after fight one wins fight two. Sustain and control compound.

Strengths

  • Biggest per-player impact in duos and trios — a Seer behind a Mercenary/Sorcerer core is the classic launch composition
  • Control tools swing Mist Lord fights and contested extractions
  • Cheap to gear relative to impact: your value is your buttons, not your loot

Weaknesses

  • Weakest solo experience in the roster — everything takes longer and nothing peels for you
  • Dependent on teammates who actually play around you
  • Low kill pressure: you don’t end fights, you decide who gets to

Who should play Seer

Fixed-group players, the friend who always ends up healing anyway, and anyone who measures wins in squad extractions, not kills. Placement: B tier (team-indexed) on the tier list. Setup: Seer build.

FAQ

Is Seer good in Mistfall Hunter?

In teams, yes — it's the roster's force multiplier and turns decent squads into extraction machines. Solo it's the weakest pick in the launch meta.

Does Seer do damage or just support?

The mace path gives it real self-sufficiency in a scrap, but you're still there for the utility. If you want carry damage, that's the Sorcerer's job.
